Until I was diagnosed in 2003 it was literally destroying my life. I have since graduated from college with honors in Paralegal and I started out with only a 5th grade education. I was self taught. I'm not a professional writer but have taken creative writing classes and told I'm very good. I have massive amounts of knowledge and experience with ADHD. I began working with legislators in 2009 to change laws for people with adult ADHD regarding stimulant medications, disabling issues and treating meth addicts that are undiagnosed like I was. I view my ADHD as a gift as long as society, health care providers and legislators remove the restrictions that limit my abilities. We are natural inventors, entreprenuers and some of the most creative creatures you'll ever meet. Lack of understanding and stigma hurts us in more ways than one. I would love to share and write for you. I went back to college to learn to employ myself due to ADHD. I'm currently one of the participants in a blind study for the new DSM-V that will be published next. I studied some psychology, I came from a dysfunctional abusive background and we were poor. I've worked my way out of all of that and I plan to volunteer for CASA. Court Appointed Special Advocates that represent children of abuse that are in foster care. I hope you'll be interested in me.
