This new registration page should work exactly like the main registration page.  It will have it’s own custom URL.

Following are the details of the work

1) Implement a method to track registration from text link or banner links and save these conversions in database
2) Provide a simple report in the admin for these conversions.

We don’t want to use Google Analytics goal tracking.
We also don’t want to use a custom registration page/landing page to be included in the tracking mechanism.

We want to track the conversions from the clicks coming via a text link or banner advertisement on our website.

The way to implement this registration conversion tracking should be a parameter in the link (text or banner) and then capture this parameter in the registration process and save in database.

For reporting in the admin simply show the tracking code and number of registration on monthly basis as below

• The results are not shown to any one including admin.
• Once a user has submitted answer he can’t submit answer again. When he does it then show “You have already answered”
• If user is not logged in then he is redirected to login and then redirected to competition page.

5) After competition ends admin shall be able to export the e-mails of all users who have answered correctly.
